Powered by a 177.3cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled GY6 engine, it delivers approximately 9.5 HP with strong low-end torque. The internal reverse setup and High/Low (H/L) gearing provide improved control and pulling ability, with the low-range mode offering approximately 40% better climbing capability than the non-H/L version and the ability to tackle slopes of up to 30 degrees under suitable conditions.

The Taurus 200U is designed with durability and off-road handling in mind. Its four-wheel independent suspension, adjustable heavy-duty front and rear shocks, rack-and-pinion steering, hydraulic disc brakes, and large aggressive 24×8-12 off-road tires help provide stability and control across uneven terrain. A heavy-duty steel frame supports a 600-lb maximum load capacity, while the rear utility dump bed can carry up to 220 lbs, making the Taurus a practical choice for transporting tools, equipment, and supplies around a property.
