Its single-cylinder, four-stroke horizontal engine uses forced-air cooling and delivers 9.9 HP at 7,500 RPM with 7.4 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 RPM. With a 9.6:1 compression ratio, CDI ignition, and mixed pressure and splash lubrication, the engine is configured for straightforward operation and routine use. The electric starting system provides convenient ignition, while the automatic centrifugal dry shoe clutch and CVT continuously variable transmission eliminate the need for conventional manual gear shifting. Power is transferred through a chain-drive system, creating a practical drivetrain arrangement for recreational riding and general off-road applications.

The PENTORA UT 200 EFI is also designed with attention to rider comfort, handling, and vehicle control. Hydraulic damping shock absorbers are installed at both the front and rear to help manage bumps and vibrations when traveling over uneven surfaces.
